Ah, Chrismukwanzadaan. Much travelling was had. Many foods were eaten. Wicked presents were given and exchanged.

Hope you all had a good one!

Well, we are preparing to do the St. Kitts-K/W-Hamilton-St.Kitts-St.Kitts* Chrismukhwanzadaan** trek. I'll likely be incommunicado until the Day of Fisticuffery***, but as I am bringing my laptop to work on the Letter of "Oh dear gods, accept me!", I may catch you online or I may not.

If not, Merry Merry and a Happy Happy to you and yours! If I do, I suppose I still wish the aforementioned Merry and Happy to you.

*Depart from Home to Mom and Da's on the 23rd, then to Nonna's and then to Home on the 24th, then to Emily's Mom's on the 25th. Busy!

**Yulmukhwanzadaanmas didn't have the same ring.

***Or Boxing Day, but that's a boring name.

I never, ever thought I'd say these words...

But Skittles vodka is incredibly delicious. Especially with Sprite.

20 years I've been drinking, and never would I have thought those words would cross my lips.

Excuse me? WHAT?

I guess things at Billboard must be bad. I mean, who are their music critics? Deaf monkies?
Or, "Well, that's not it was intended for."

So, I'm putting together a trio of Land Speeder Tornadoes which Mark gave me for my Space Wolves army and I noticed that the holes for the flying bases had been filled in, likely with the broken-off pegs of flying bases that had been glued in there during their prior service with Mark's Ravenwing army. This, of course, caused some consternation, as I need to have something with which I can mount those Speeders to flying bases. I tried scraping the pegs out with a utility knife to no avail. Then I remembered that I have a set of 19 (originally 21) Titanium, 135° split-point masonry drill bits on my desk.

Turns out that the peg of a Large Flying Base is, precisely, 5/64ths of an inch wide.

Of course, after I drilled out the third speeder, I realized that there as a very real chance I could have drilled right through my hand.

However, the speeders are based and all I have to do now is paint the pilot's heads, glue the aforementioned noggins onto the pilot's bodies, apply some finishing touches (suitably Space Wolf-ish decorations, Pack Markings, etc.) and they're done.

Come the 3rd, JME won't know what hit his cowardly Dark Angels.

I lent my knife to a guy at Phoenix today during a game of Blood Bowl with Tim and forgot to get it back.

Here's hoping he'll show up tomorrow and I can snag it then.
